In this paper, a new structure for the chipless RFID tag is proposed based on the backscattering principle of electromagnetic (EM) wave. It is a C-shaped defect ring nested structure which does not increase the size of tag while can expand the coding capacity. The new structure equivalently has a multi-signal processing capability and can independently send and receive signals with coded information.
