Abstract

The chipless radio frequency identification (RFID) technology represents a new direction of development for RFID technology, but there are still many deficiencies in this technology currently. The distinct problem is the lack of strong capability of carrying information and the large size of tag. In this paper, a new structure for the chipless RFID tag is proposed based on the backscattering principle of electromagnetic (EM) wave.
