Abstract

This paper presents a methodology to obtain the parameters of the equivalent circuit for induction motor from nameplate and manufacturer catalog data sheet information. The proposed method is straight and non-iterative. The variation of rotor parameters for deep bars or double cage rotors is modeled and presented as a function of the slip.
