Abstract
This paper presents a method to study the radiation properties of chirostrip antennas. Working in the Fourier domain, transformed Green's functions composed by compact and closed form expressions, can be obtained. The fields radiated by the antenna are calculated through an asymptotic expression obtained by the stationary phase method. Using this formulation, the peculiar effects of the chiral substrate on the radiation properties of a short printed dipole, are analyzed.
