Abstract

This paper describes the design and optimisation of a rugged, 183 GHz, subharmonic mixer using a novel monolithic integrated circuit. The circuit consists of two, balanced planar GaAs Schottky-Barrier diodes symmetrically opposed together with associated antenna coupling structures.
