Network Mapping for TDMA Mesh Sensor Networks with Flooding Routing

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a network mapping method for wireless sensor networks based on TDMA flooding routing protocol. The aim of the network mapping is to create a map of the entire network with all connections for further analysis. The network discovery method used for leasing Virtual Routing Numbers not provides enough information about all of the network connections. The introduced network mapping method take advantage of the TDMA flooding routing protocol based communication and create the adjacency matrix of the graph abstracted from the wireless sensor network topography.
