Multi-continent descriptive analytics of hypertension, obesity, and smoking

Abstract

The objectives of our study comprise the descriptive analysis of the relation of the patient’s nationality, age and gender with i) the Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP) and Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP), ii) the Body Mass Index (BMI), and iii) BMI with the potential of being hypertensive or smoker, respectively. Existing surveys focus on country-based or continent-based health metrics combination and do not address all the continents. Thus, this work provides a systematic literature review on the field of country-based health metrics combination. We bring together all these research works by aggregating them and thus producing a descriptive synthesis based on the reported descriptive analysis.
