FOREIGN EXPERIENCE IN SOVING PROBLEMS OF SOCIAL PROTECTION OF POPULATION

Abstract

Objective. The work presents the development of suggestions for the legislative and regulatory regulation of issues of social protection of people at individual owner-operated farms. Methods. To achieve this goal, the following main tasks were solved: the main reasons that led to the emergence of private farms were investigated; the main trends of their development and transformation were analysed; the specific features of employment and social protection of the population working at the farms were shown; the problems faced by people working at the individual private farms were disclosed; the necessity of legislative regulation of their employment status and improvement of social protection was pointed out; foreign experience in social protection of small agricultural producers was studied and analyzed; the necessity of using such a positive experience in the development of measures to improve the social protection of people working at private farms of Ukraine was highlighted. Findings. According to the results of the study, suggestions were worked out for the improvement of the social protection of owners and employees of the individual private farms. Scientific novelty. The authors suggested and substantiated proposals for improving social protection of the owners and employees of the individual private farms. Practical significance. The prepared proposals will allow solving the problems of social protection of the owners of private farms, and most importantly significantly increasing the flow of funds to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
