Pro and cons singularity: Kurzweil's theory and its critics

Abstract

The present paper reviews and resumes the "panoply" of criticism triggered by Ray Kurzweil's worrying scenario about the forthcoming Technological Singularity. These debates on technological evolution are re-considered and re-evaluated from the perspective of philosophical anthropology. Genuine enquiries on this subject are taken up as well.
