This system consists of a variety of tools such as Just-In-Time system, Kanban system or 5S system; their sharing allows of realization the philosophy of Lean Manufacturing. Russian companies face a number of challenges when implementing this concept — incorrect interpretation of approaches of Lean Manufacturing, internal barriers represented by the peculiarity of managing approaches in domestic leadership, and the lack of support by the government. It is necessary to identify the problems of system implementation in time and focus on solving all sorts of problems standing in the way of successful operation of Lean Manufacturing in the organization.
