Abstract

The aim of this paper is to design an unknown inputs observer for a class of MIMO nonlinear systems in order to simultaneously estimate the whole state as well as the unknown inputs. More specifically, to demonstrate its performances, the proposed observer is applied to a hydrographic four tank process, where the non measured levels and the unknown flow rates are instantaneously estimated.
