ETHNICITY IN AN OPEN INFORMATION SPACE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the transformation of ethnicity as a social phenomenon in an open information space. The main social and political processes of change in ethnic space and communication are identified and analyzed. The logic of presentation leads to the conclusion that the phenomenon of ethnicity continues to retain its significance, as it is the basis for network communication, and its transformation is a manifestation of a global contradiction between cross-culturalism and the need for identification.
