Towards an Intelligent Diagnostic Support System Based on a Multi-Agent System for the Analysis and Management of an Educational Institution

Abstract

The development of multi-agent system architectures, which facilitate information management, is a major research challenge in the field of information management systems. In the field of education management, the introduction of multi-agent architectures can be useful for modelling the environment of an educational institution, characterised by the diversity of actors and their geographical distribution. The design of development projects at the level of educational institutions requires intelligent processing of the available information on the school's actors, in particular for the diagnosis of learning and the prioritisation of improvement interventions.In this paper, we propose a new model that contributes to the development of a diagnostic support system based on a multi-agent system for the analysis and management of educational institutions in the Moroccan context. The proposed model aims at facilitating the management task and improving the performance of educational institutions by providing the local manager with strengths and areas for improvement based on quantitative and qualitative data provided by agents from information systems and other information sources.
