Abstract

The basic converters (Buck, Boost, and Buck-Boost) are modified by a change of the position of the bulk capacitor. The capacitor is connected between the input and the output and not parallel to the output connectors. The three modified converter structures are analyzed by drawing the signal graphs, and the voltage transformation rate is derived. Simulation results are shown to verify the basic analyzes.
