Abstract

This article examines approaches to teaching dance to college students in the People's Republic of China. In the conditions of modern times cultural traditions of national Chinese classical dance are not to be transformed, they develop according to the new trends, which preserves ethnic roots of Chinese dance art, and professional choreographic training becomes more universal and ready to the challenges of the global educational market and adapted to the trends of cultural integration in choreography.
