Abstract
This Paper first studies the transmission power and stability limit of AC link system without reactive power compensation, and then studies the transmission power and stability limit of weak HVDC link system without reactive power compensation, as well as the impact of both the changes of AC reactance and the rectifier angle and inverter extinguisher angle on the transmission power and voltage stability.
