The ClusterDuck Protocol put to the test: Evaluating and Enhancing a Communication Network for Disaster Management

Abstract

The ClusterDuck Protocol is presented which provides a robust method of communication which does not depend on wires in the ground or mains voltage and can service areas which suffered from natural disasters of many kinds. An evaluation of the basic operation is performed and improvements and further adaptations are postulated.
