Abstract

This thesis is concerned about the designing of the additional controller based on the online synchronization policy iteration algorithm for the typical autonomous wind-diesel hybrid power system with known dynamics. Considering the reactive power requirement of the power system, the static voltage automatic regulator is installed in parallel to supply reactive power. The designed additional controller has been verified on the strength of step disturbance and random disturbance in load reactive power. Transient responses have been shown the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive algorithm.
