Abstract

The application of PSCAD (Power Systems Computer Aided Design) and Comsol Multiphysics software complexes for simulation, calculation and visual representation of thermal and electromagnetic processes occurring in a single-phase ground fault with an intermittent arc in medium-voltage networks with resistive grounding of neutral is considered in the article. The simulation was carried out to predict the behavior of a real power supply system and optimize conditions functioning of the developed technical solution.
