Abstract
This article is dedicated to modeling of the emission device of industrial radio interference based on the clock generator, which in real devices is the most common cause of electromagnetic compatibility problems. The device under test consists of a clock generator and two inverters connected through long printed conductors. Simulation results are obtained in CST Microwave Studio, with the simulation conditions close to measuring the emitted interference according to the standards. The results obtained are compared with the actual experiment in an semi-anechoic chamber. It is shown that the simulation of the device and the subsequent correct measurement of the parameters of emitted fields make it possible to obtain a fairly accurate approximation to the measurement results carried out in a semi-anechoic chamber of a real device at a lower cost. Such a method will allow identifying electromagnetic compatibility problems in the device at the development stage.
