The time delay due to the calculation is also compensated by the one step ahead current prediction. To measure the instantaneous torque ripple, a torque observer is constructed using a high precision encoder of 50000 pulses per revolution. Abstract

In this paper a method of the torque control attenuating the undesired torque pulsation for a brushless DC motor with nonideal trapezoidal back EMF is presented.
