Indian Language Identification Systems: A Review on databases and AI based Industrial Applications

Abstract

The technique for determining the language of an unidentified speaker from an utterance is called Language Identification. The classification of Language Identification Systems is based on database gathering approaches, feature extraction techniques from speech signals, and classification algorithms. Database plays a very important role in language identification systems. So, to build an efficient language identification system all the stages beginning from database collection to feature extraction and finally classification should be considered. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the various databases utilized in the field of Indian Language Identification systems. The document also lists many databases that can be used to identify languages. Different industrial applications of Artificial intelligence are also covered in this work.
