European MMIC Commercial Applications

Abstract

The present European coordinate activities into the field of MMIC's for commercial applications are presented, and some of the most interesting achievements illustrated. The unique role played by the European Community Programs, like ESPRIT and EUREKA, in order to make up the foundation of a 111-V commercial industry, is also highlighted.
