Turning the Tables

Abstract

It was 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon and Ken Pike, owner of KB Pike and Associates stared at his computer. He had 15 more emails to respond to before he was well into thinking about taking a good weekend break. Ken had been a Hydraulic designer for 28 years and had a long established practice which was recognised throughout the industry. Despite many of his previous business partners and associates at moving on to start their own successful business, Ken had an affinity with his staff that promoted loyalty. He was impressed with his current employees and was considering promoting his new boy genius Tony, when another email popped up on his screen.
