Abstract
The number of traffic accidents in Indonesia always increasing every year. From 2014 to 2018, there was an increase in the number of traffic accidents by 24.2%. In general, drivers with a short driving experience have more risk to have an accident than drivers with more experience in driving. One solution to overcome this problem is to improve the driver's experience. The driving simulator can be used to train a beginner driver. The latest technology of Driving simulators is the most sophisticated application of computer-aided kinematic and dynamic simulations. It can place the driver in an artificial environment believed to be a valid substitute for one or more aspects of the actual driving experience. The use of a simulator that does not require a human instructor also makes it easy for beginner drivers so that beginners can practice anywhere and anytime. The simulator is created with a traffic violation detection system and is intended for private car driving practice with two-mode scenes simulation: mission mode & free mode. We evaluate the system by functional test, operational test, and Device hardware Load test and provide satisfactory results to be able to help drivers improve their driving ability.
