Communicating Through Code

Abstract

This chapter discusses how to write code in order to communicate ideas about a data analysis. In particular, the chapter describes how to: write pseudocode to give a high-level explanation of a programing task; adopt coding conventions and principles so that code is readable, well documented, and easily understood by others; and use technology tools to make sharing code easier.
