The first axis of the research will give us an idea of the intake of learning of the target language, that is, the information that learners retain from the input and use in their written productions (Corder, 1967). Abstract
This paper analyzes the use of morphologically constructed words by learners of Portuguese who have Mandarin or Cantonese as their first language.
