Abstract
This article proposes a comparative analysis between some control techniques that are able to considerably reduce the Common Mode Voltage (CMV), which is one of the main causes of failures in induction machines. Among the various solutions, there is the implementation of the Space Vector Modulation (SVM) and its variations, which depend on the choice and application of selected voltage vectors, such as Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM), Active Zero Space Pulse Width Modulation (AZSPWM) and others. It is also possible to implement the triggering of switches through the Finite Set Model Predictive Control (FS-MPC). Thus, computational simulations were carried out in order to obtain this analysis between strategies that reduce the CMV.
