Abstract
Through the personal observation of the researchers, they found that most of the students hesitate to perform the skill of the front hands jump on the jumping table for different reasons and in order to determine the psychological state, especially psychological hesitation, it was necessary to know the reality of psychological hesitation among students to try to find the necessary solutions to this problem, as the effect of psychological hesitation It is not limited to the physical aspect. Therefore, the researchers decided to study this problem and know the extent of the impact of psychological hesitation on students during the performance of the front-hand leap skill among students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Kitab University as the key to excellence, scientific excellence and professional success.
The aim of the research was to identify the reality of psychological hesitation among third-stage students when they learned the skill of the front hands leap on the jumping table. The researchers hypothesized that there are significant relationships between the students' psychological frequency and the skill of the front hands jump on the jumping table. The researchers used the descriptive approach in the survey method to suit the nature of the research, and the research community consisted of students of the third stage in the College of Education / Department of Physical and Sports Sciences at Al-Kitab University for the academic year 2020-2021, numbering (40) students for the morning study. Their number is (34) students, and this constitutes (85%) of the community.
The researchers reached the following conclusions:
1- The study showed the presence of a high psychological frequency in the research sample in the performance of the psychological frequency skill, the skill of the front hands jump on the jumping table device.
2- The study showed that there is an inverse correlation between psychological frequency and the accuracy of psychological frequency performance of the skill of the front hands jump on the jumping table device.
3- Lack of experience and lack of self-confidence have led to an increase in psychological hesitation.
The researchers recommend the following:
1 -Teachers must work to address all the factors that lead to the emergence of psychological hesitation.
2- Emphasis on psychological preparation for athletes as an important aspect of general preparation.
3- Emphasis on psychological aspects to raise students' morale, enthusiasm, perseverance and challenge.
