Abstract

Jim Keogh is an assistant professor at New York University where he teaches project management and other related courses. He was a principle developer of the Advanced Diploma in Project Management program at New York University and was on the team that introduced formal project management methodology to a leading Wall Street firm. Keogh is the author of nearly 100 books and introduced PC programming across America in his Popular Electronics magazine column in 1982, four years after Apple Computer started in a garage. He developed the Electronic Commerce Track at Columbia University and was a team member who built one of the first Windows applications by a Wall Street firm that was featured by Bill Gates in 1986 on Windows on Wall Street. Keogh wrote one of the first books that showed how to solve the Year 2000 problem. He appeared on CNN, FOX, Good Day New York, NBC’s Weekend Today, and ABC’s World Wide Business Report. His books are sold around the world and have been translated into Arabic, Thai, Romanian, French, Hungarian, Turkish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Czechoslovakian, Chinese and Japanese. They can be found in leading university libraries including: Harvard Business School, MIT Barton Library, Yale University Library, Columbia University Library, Wharton Business School Lippincott Library, Beijing University, University of Cambridge, and University of Oxford.
