Overview of Software Engineering Standards Activities

Abstract

The software engineering issue we must address is “HOW do we develop and maintain good software?“. We have been looking at various parts of the issue throughout this morning from the perspective of the different speakers. Unfortunately, we often tend to focus on the parts and not look at the whole l i f e cycle of the software. The software engineering concepts that we must work with are ones that address that entire life cycle and are aimed at improving the quality and the productivity of the software.
