Abstract

The purpose of this meeting is to assemble experts interested in the broad problem of platelet dependent vascular occlusion. Topics for consideration include advances in the cellular and molecular biology of platelets and endothelial cells, biochemical and molecular mechanisms of vascular proliferation and coagulation and novel therapeutic approaches to thrombosis and atherosclerosis. The audiencc will be structured to foster informal scientific interaction with the faculty. The program will be of relevance to biochemists, pharmacologists, cellular and molecular biologists both in academia and in the pharmaceutical industry
