Besides that, this antenna also operates over WLAN 2.4/3.6 GHz and WiMAX 3.5 GHz frequency bands. The antenna is designed based on a spiral shaped radiator with an L-shaped stub along its feed line. It is also shown that the proposed antenna has minimized ground plane effect on performance of antenna. It has a compact size of 56 × 9.5 mm2.
