Curve fitting is important for waveform parameter evaluation in testing and research on high voltage engineering. This paper presents a method to estimate the waveform parameters according to the standard IEC 60060-1: 2010. Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm has been applied for this purposes. The standard lightning impulse waveform generated by the test data generator attached with IEC 61083-2.
