The development of social media led to campaigns about the environment entering the realm of cyberspace. Including the campaign of the ministry of environment and environmental vehicles in overcoming forest fires in Indonesia. This research is looking for a solution to the question of how the Indonesian Ministry of Environment's campaign and environmental environment can provide information while simultaneously making the public aware of forest fires on Instagram social media. The theory and concept of this study used Social Networking, campaign models and social interaction in cyberspace communities. The research method used virtual ethnography where the data collect from Instagram Ministry of Environment and Forestry and NGO Walhi. The number of data comment to analyse is five post with more than 500 comments from Walhi Instagram and 300 posts in the KLHK Instagram. The data analysis technique uses techniques from Creswell with six stages of data analysis. Data analysed through four levels, there are media space, media documents, media objects and experience. The results showed that most campaigns were responded to by critics of the Indonesian government which allowed the private sector to open the development area by burning forests.
