The result of observation and interview with the English teachers in SMA Negeri 5 Garut state that all English teachers have arranged and used  the lesson plan, and obtained data, from the six English teachers who do not understand about the role of lesson plan are only 2 persons, while 4 other English teachers have understood the role of lesson plan in teaching English. But, in improving and implementation, it is constrained by several factors as I explain in the discussion. Abstract

This study is aimed to (1), determine the role of teaching English. 教案作为提高教师英语教学质量的一种努力
本研究旨在(1)确定英语教学的作用。(2)证明教案的使用对提高教师的教学质量,尤其是英语教学质量有一定的作用。这次学习是一次课堂行动。本研究的对象是SMA Negeri 5 Garut的英语教师。收集数据的技术是通过观察、访谈和文件。对SMA Negeri 5 Garut英语教师的观察和访谈结果表明,所有英语教师都安排和使用了教案,并获得数据,6名不了解教案作用的英语教师中只有2人,而其他4名英语教师了解教案在英语教学中的作用。但是,正如我在讨论中所解释的那样,在改进和实施方面,它受到几个因素的限制。但在实践中,英语教师会根据教学大纲和英语教学计划,根据现在和将来的情况和学生的特点,根据教案进行教学,努力发挥现有的能力,与其他教师合作,为学生提供最好的服务。因此,从本研究中,我们可以得出结论,课程计划对提高英语教师的素质有很大的作用,特别是SMA Negeri 5 Garut和其他地区的教师。
