Most books and articles in recent years deal with th e operating characteristics of different hardware/software configurations. This book has little material o n that topic . Instead, the authors have divided the volume into four major parts : 1 ; Frameworks for information systems management ; 2. Information systems resource selection ; 3. Managing the systems development and operations activity; and 4. Managing the information system .
