Abstract

In this paper, a Discrete PI Controller of the current in a Bidirectional DC-DC converter is designed. A digital implementation of the designed controller is carried out using the SAM3X8E ARM Cortex M3-based Microcontroller of the Arduino Due board. The built-in PWM module is used to drive the power electronics switches safely. An experimental verification of the proposed controller is carried out using a reduced scale experimental test bench. Experimental results prove the validity of the proposed control scheme.
