Vacuum assisted closure of wounds – A review

Abstract

Background : Vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) therapy is a new technique based on the principle of application of controlled negative pressure. This technique has revolutionized the concept of wound management in recent times. Method : This is a review article in which various aspects related to the use of VAC therapy are dealt with.
