ANALISIS KREDIBILITAS ISI PEMBERITAAN TINDAK KEJAHATAN PENCURIAN DATA MELALUI FITUR ADD YOURS DI INSTAGRAM PADA MEDIA ONLINE (STUDI KASUS PADA MEDIA ONLINE KOMPAS.COM DAN REPUBLIKA.CO.ID)

Abstract

This study aims to explain the credibility and factuality of the content of online media reports regarding data theft through the Add Yours feature on Instagram. The concept used in this research is mass communication and online media. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a content analysis research approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and documentation.Researchers made observations on the content of online media coverage of Kompas.com and Republika.co.idand documentation in the form of screenshots of the news titles. The results of this study indicate that the credibility and factuality of news on Kompas.com regarding data theft through the Add Yours feature on Instagram is better than reporting on Republika.co.id.
