EMC test laboratory assessment

Abstract

EMC test laboratory accreditation is a prerequisite for test report acceptance by the FCC's DoC procedure and a requirement for a laboratory to be designated as a Conformity Assessment Body for the EU. ISO/IEC Guide 25 general requirements for competence of testing laboratories is a worldwide accepted basis for laboratory accreditation. The described on-site assessment process lists typical laboratory's strengths and deficiencies.
