Abstract

Two types of PWM are reviewed which can be used to produce a unified implementation of the variety of feedforward schemes proposed for the buck converter over 15 years. Nonlinear input-voltage- and output-current-feedforward control are shown to unilateralize the buck converter, eliminating interaction of the input and output filters, and producing an ideal voltage source and current sink, respectively.
