Abstract

the main idea of this paper is to use the finite element method (FEM) to analyze the stresses and thermal distribution that will arise from an impact with a particular heat source on a solid body. Additionally, the paper describes how to implement the Delaunay algorithm to create a 3D mesh of the solid, and how to use math modeling techniques to solve for the heat solution.
