Лексико-семантические группы имен существительных со значением части и доли предмета в якутском языке

Abstract

A detailed description of the ways of expressing the meaning of quantity in the modern Yakut language is a necessary part of language description. The paper discusses idioms which are traditionally considered to be peripheral means of expressing the idea of quantity. The analysis shows that idioms allow the speakers of Yakut to express both the information about the quantity of objects and their attitude towards the counted substances.
