احياء غرز الوصل اليدوية في تصميم الأزياء باستخدام تقنيات التطريز الآلي Reviving Handmade Fagot Stitches in Fashion Design by Using Automated Embroidery Techniques

Abstract

Abstract Heritage reflects the culture of society, which include customs, knowledge, and skills. Among the skills reflected by heritage is the art of hand embroidery used to decorate and treat clothing items. One of the hand embroidery stitches that were popular in the western region in Saudi Arabia is the faggoting stitches used to connect two pieces of fabric. This study focuses on the disappearance of faggoting stitches because of recent developments in the field of technology. It aims at reviving the faggoting stitches in a manner appropriate to the modern era through the use of automated embroidery stitches that simulate manual faggoting stitches in making designs that suit the different physiques. This research used the historical approach and the applied descriptive approach. The importance of this research lies in the attempt to preserve the cultural heritage by reviving faggoting stitches through the use of the automated embroidery of faggoting stitches that resemble handfaggoting styles in clothes, which suit different body types. The study assumes the possibility of utilizing the different techniques in the automated faggoting to inspire and revive the traditional hand stitches style in fashion. In Addition, the study assumes the possibility of replacing the hand faggoting stitches with the new techniques of automated stitches in producing contemporary designs that fit different physiques. A questionnaire was designed to explore and assess the highlights of the topic and elements of the research and verify its goals. One of the most prominent findings of the research is the success of automated embroidery techniques in inspiring and reviving the tradition of manual linking stitches in fashion design. It was also found that the automated embroidery techniques contributed to creating new designs consistent with different body shapes. In conclusion, the study provides more room for creativity and innovation in the field of fashion designs based on traditional embroidery stitches. The research recommends intensifying and documenting historical studies in traditional hand stitches in the regions of the Kingdom and developing modern methods in reviving traditional hand stitches in line with the era of speed and modern developments in fashion design. Keywords: Handmade Fagot stitches, Automated Embroidery Techniques, Body Shapes. الملخص يعكس التراث ثقافة المجتمع التي تتضمن العادات والمعارف والمهارات، ومن هذه المهارات فن التطريز اليدوي المستخدم لتزيين الملابس ومعالجتها. ومن غرز التطريز اليدوي التي اشتهرت في المنطقة الغربية في السعودية غرز الوصل التي استخدمت لوصل قطعتين من القماش. وتكمن مشكلة البحث في قلة استخدام التطريز اليدوي حتى كاد أن يندثر نتيجة التطورات الحديثة في مجال التقنية، لذا رأت الدارسة إعادة إحياء غرز الوصل بما يتناسب مع العصر الحديث باستخدام غرز التطريز الآلي التي تحاكي غرز الوصل اليدوية في عمل تصميمات تناسب تنوع أشكال الجسم. اتبع البحث المنهج التاريخي والمنهج الوصفي الإجرائي. ويهدف البحث إلى استبدال غرز التطريز اليدوية بغرز وصل آلية، وتوظيفها في تصميمات تتناسب مع تنوع الأجسام المختلفة. وتكمن أهمية البحث في المحافظة على التراث وذلك بإحياء غرز الوصل باستخدام غرز التطريز الآلي التي تحاكي غرز الوصل اليدوية في تصميم موديلات تناسب تنوع أشكال الأجسام المختلفة. وقد افترض البحث إمكانية توظيف تقنيات التطريز الآلي في استلهام وإحياء تراث غرز الوصل اليدوية في تصميم الأزياء وإمكانية الاستعاضة عن غرز الوصل اليدوية بتقنيات غرز الوصل الآلية في ابتكار تصاميم جديدة تتناسق مع تنوع أشكال الأجسام المختلفة، وقد صممت استبانة لاستطلاع التقييمات لإبراز موضوع وعناصر البحث والتحقق من أهدافه. ومن أبرز النتائج التي توصل لها البحث؛ نجاح تقنيات التطريز الآلي في استلهام وإحياء تراث غرز الوصل اليدوية في تصميم الأزياء، كما ساهمت تقنيات التطريز الآلي في ابتكار تصميمات جديدة تتناسق مع أشكال الأجسام المختلفة. بالمحصلة تتيح الدراسة مجالا متسعا للإبداع والابتكار في مجال تصميمات الأزياء المعتمدة على غرز التطريز المستوحاة من التراث. وتوصي الدراسة بتكثيف الدراسات التاريخية في الغرز اليدوية التقليدية في مناطق المملكة وتدوينها، والعمل على استحداث طرق وأساليب حديثة لإحياء الغرز اليدوية التقليدية تتناسب مع عصر السرعة والتطور التكنولوجي والصناعي الحديث في تصميم وإنتاج الأزياء. الكلمات المفتاحية: غرز الوصل اليدوية، تقنيات التطريز الآلي، أشكال الجسم
