Abstract

The need for improvement of lifetime prediction of hydrostatic axial piston units is driven by partly outdated knowledge dating back to the 1970s and is also motivated by a significant evolution of hydrostatic drivetrains. However, the evolution of the load life is unknown and must be investigated.
