Using Mathematical Software with Support for Students with Visual Impairments

Abstract

The contribution describes some specific ways to make mathematical software accessible to visually impaired students. That task is a difficult problem that strongly hindered visually impaired people in access to scientific studies for generations. The paper deals with some functionalities of selected mathematical software - MAPLE., and Maxima., working in combination with LAMBDA editor.
