Abstract

General sample preparation techniques are covered for use with infrared, ultraviolet, visible, and atomic absorption spectroscopies. Specific techniques are discussed for preparation of different categories of materials: adhesives, aqueous samples, gums, fibers and textiles, paper, paints, pigments, polymers, polishes, and waxes.
