Abstract

In this we report an experience in a problem-solving workshop, in which students from the seventh grade of elementary school (training for competitions in mathematics) participated. In it we emphasize the importance between problem solving and the learning process of the arithmetic concepts associated with the numbers repunits, seeking the development of skills in students, such as: investigate, discover, propose, conjecture and validate concepts about numbers repunits by exploring problem.
