The random sampling method was used in selecting respondents for this study while path analysis with structural equation model (SEM) was used to analyze the hypotheses formulated. The results showed that all the indicators have direct effects on learning outcomes of educational research methodology; learning motivation directly affects emotional intelligence and learning outcomes, and that emotional intelligence directly affects learning outcomes. Abstract
