ANALISIS VALUE ENGINEERING PADA PROYEK JALAN DAN JEMBATAN MENURUT PERSEPSI PELAKU JASA KONSTRUKSI

Abstract

Value Engineering can be applied when preparing road and bridge project designs in the context of efficiency in the form of substantial savings and improving design quality. key success factors as well as obstacles or obstacles that are often encountered in the practice of Value Engineering in road and bridge projects. In carrying out the research, the author has distributed questionnaires to 113 respondents who are engaged as construction service actors, both as project owner as many as 18 respondents and as service providers as many as 95 respondents consisting of consulting service providers as many as 91 respondents and construction service providers as many as 4 respondents. . The data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The application of Value Engineering is carried out on road and bridge projects that will be proposed and can also be carried out on ongoing projects. The level of education of experts and experience of personnel from construction service actors is the key to success in implementing Value Engineering. Lack of knowledge about Value Engineering and the absence of a legal basis and the absence of clauses/articles on Value Engineering in the SSUK, SSKK and General Specifications governing the practice of implementing Value Engineering are obstacles in implementing Value Engineering on road and bridge projects.
